More than 1,400 individuals have joined the Conservancy
to advance the mission of protecting significant natural lands in the
Southern Piedmont. Many of them have grown up here and hope the
wooded areas, working farms and rolling hills that make this region
special will remain for their children and grandchildren. Newcomers
want to preserve the quality of life that first drew them to the Southern
Piedmont. Donations from individual supporters make up about one-third
of the Conservancy's operating budget, making our work possible. Please
consider making a difference today by assisting with our conservation
efforts.
Donor Benefits
As a donor, you'll help protect ecological diversity, water quality and open space, while allowing the Conservancy to leverage your dollars with state grants, local and national foundation support and corporate partners. You'll receive:
Invitations to specials events and guided hikes on protected properties
A Catawba Lands Conservancy totebag (at
$100 level and higher)
Opportunities to meet and interact with others who have a similar
passion for conservation
Honorariums, Memorials and Gift Memberships
The Conservancy also is pleased to offer honorariums, memorials and gift
memberships. These make meaningful gifts for loved
ones, friends and colleagues. With gifts at the $50
level and higher, the recipient will receive a beautiful
greeting card showcasing a Conservancy property to notify them of your
thoughtfulness. Please complete the "gift
donations" online
form for any one of these special gifts.
Planned Gifts and Heritage Circle
A growing number of donors have chosen to include the Conservancy
in their estate plans to leave a permanent legacy
of conserved land. Those who have made this commitment
become part of our Heritage Circle to recognize
their important role in the Conservancy's long-term
sustainability. A variety of options are available
for those interested in planned gifts. Please
see our planned
giving fact sheet (PDF) for more details.
